On April 4, 2026, families and kids came to the Chetwynd & District Rec Centre for a fun-filled day during the Bunny Town Easter Extravaganza.
There were a lot of activities for people of all ages at the event, which brought the community together. The kids were excited to take part in the Easter egg hunt, and others had fun with face painting, games, balloon animals, and interactive booths set up all over the place.
Families could do more than just the egg hunt. They could also enter contests like bunny ear and basket competitions, as well as creative activities like coloring contests and guessing games. As kids proudly showed off their baskets full of eggs, the Rec Center was full of laughter, excitement, and lots of sweet treats.
There was a pancake patch, climbing activities, and even a free swim, which made it a full day of fun for everyone who came.The event made everyone feel welcome and warm, which gave families a chance to get together and celebrate Easter.Peace FM/Chet TV thanks the Rec Center team for putting on such a fun and successful event for the community.
